I have been looking back at previous posts on here, and there are a lot of "I'm starting again..." kind of posts. This one is kind of like that... but it is different.
This time is different...
For the year 2019, I chose a word to describe the theme of my year. It was "EXPERIENCE". I wanted to spend my time and money making memories and experiencing life in a way that I had not before. It is now September and I have had some incredible experiences.
I took my girls out to Campbell River for Easter and spent the week with my parents and extended family and got to experience my girls loving their grandparents.
I went to my first concert. Pentatonix with my sister-in-law, or "Seester" as I like to call her, and got to experience the joy of live music on a different level.
I went to family camp with the entire Dietz Clan and got to experience river walks, and lifelong friendships being built.
I sent my kids with my parents for a week and got to experience silence in my house.
I went to spend some time with an old friend and got to experience driving for 16 hours in one weekend by myself.
I went to Pacific City, OR with the entire Dietz Clan and got to experience having fun with my family without caring what anyone else thought of me... that means a wet suit and COLD water and boogie boarding.
I went to my first Cirque show with my husband and got to experience the wonder of the circus like I was a little girl.
I went to Campbell River and got to experience the sorrow and grief that comes with losing someone you love.
I went to my first Broadway musical, R.E.N.T. with my girlfriend, Samm, and got to experience live theater with someone who shares my excitement and joy.
There are still so many things that I am sure I am going to get to experience before the year is out...
One thing coming up soon is the #last90days challenge.
On October 1st, Dave and Rachel Hollis ("Girl, wash your face", "Girl, Stop Appologizing") along with hundreds of thousands of people across the world, finish out the last 90 days of the year the same way that people usually start the first month of the new year. It is an exciting challenge that I am so excited totry ... DO! See what I did there?? That is all part of the challenge, and so I am going to be posting about this new challenge, and about the things that I am going to be doing over the next little while.
So, please, follow along as I tackle the #last90days challenge, and figure out how to do this life...
