EARLY MORNINGS ARE NOT MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!
Let me just start with that. The last few days have been pretty decent, but this morning there was a HUGE thunder storm at 6am. NOT A FAN! But because I couldn't get back to sleep I decided to stay awake and watch a show. I even had a friend come over this morning and we had a really great chat. But, try as I may, even with lots of coffee involved, I just couldn't get my energy up.
Speaking of energy, yesterday I, for some reason, only managed to get about 900 calories, probably because I didn't remember to eat breakfast... so that kind of set my day off on the wrong foot. But that also helped me realize that I really do need breakfast to have a good day. Even if it is just a bowl of cereal with milk. Crazy thing is... I stopped eating breakfast when I was 16 years old. That was 13 years ago.... So, this is really setting me up for a good habit that I can keep. Yay!
Anyhoo... because I had so few calories logged for yesterday my calorie counting app got upset with me... Apparently women need a minimum of 1000-1200 calories to no go into starvation mode. I currently have my calorie goal set for 1500 calories a day because before July 20th 2015 I was eating probably close to 2500 calories a day. And, this far my plans have been working for me because I am officially down another pound... that is 8 in total... in 3 weeks... WHOOO!!!! Once I get to the 6 week mark I might think about dropping my calorie goals down to 1300 or something. But, I will cross that bridge when I get there. :-)
So, regardless of when I get up I need to make sure that I eat breakfast, and that I don't binge watch shows on Netflix... yeah... that's right... I spent too much time watching Netflix today because it was a rainy, ugly, grey day all day. And, usually on those kind of days I eat because I am bored... But not today... I didn't do that... I did however, watch far too much TV, when I could very well have done work around the house. I still got things on my To Do List done, and I have not dropped the ball on my kitchen (YAY ME!), but it is still important to do other little things around the house.
Oh well... this is what I have learned the most throughout this journey so far...

TOMORROW IS A BRAND NEW DAY!!!!!!!
Yes, that is the best news...
Last little thing before I go for today...
UGH!!!!!! Yesterday I had worship team practice and I had planned to walk home. Great... So, I locked up the church and then started my walk mapping app... Again... Great... But, apparently when I put my phone in my pocket I pushed "Pause workout" by accident because after 8 blocks I finally realized I hadn't gotten an update of how far I walked yet (my app does that) and checked to see if something was wrong... and my app hadn't tracked anything that I had done... Poop! I still have the option of inputting my information manually, but still... Grrrrr... Arg! But I have been diligent about walking instead of driving and going out for a walk every night. I am about to leave for my walk for tonight, so I will go... but thanks for reading!!!!
