So, the last couple of days haven't been the best for my eating habits. I have learned that it is MUCH harder to keep up with my portions when I eat at someone else's house. Especially when they have a giant bowl of grapes and cherries just ready to be eaten. Lol.
So, learning is a hard thing to do. When I am the one who is fully in control of my choices... Then it is a little easier. But my willpower did not win yesterday and I made bad choices when I should have, and could have made better ones...
Oh well! Today is a new day.
And I did make up for it in the fact that I burned 432 calories walking 3 miles (5K) in 45 mins. I think my new walking app said that I was walking at 4 mi per hour. That is pretty good if you ask me. :-) My eventual goal is to walk every night and maybe even get to get the same route done in 30 mins. MAYBE!!!
Now that is enough about my eating and fitness goals.
A very good girlfriend of mine sent me an epic text the other day loaded with encouragement. She was saying that she was proud of me and that she is super happy that I have been making such an effort to keep my kitchen clean. My kitchen has been a point of misery for me for the past 7 years. Ugh!!
So, she encouraged me to make cleaning the kitchen a fun task that I enjoy doing. Her suggestions were to put on some music or something that brings me joy and to make that time in the evening something I look forward to. What a great idea!!!!!!! And, even though I have had a rough few days, I have still managed to get my kitchen clean every night because it is so nice to wake up to a clean kitchen. And, now it only takes me about 15 mins a night to get my kitchen all spick and span. Yay me!!!!!!

Yesterday I got to spend time with my very good friend, Susie!!!! Susie and I met when we were both in Tarzan and we became very good friends! This summer we have made an effort to still see each other and spend time together and it has been really awesome!!! A few weeks ago Susie was able to come over here for a visit and yesterday I went out to her house for the day. It was so fun!!! Susie lives just over an hour away from here on a farm with her mom and dad and two brothers. Oh, right.... I should also mention that Susie is 14... But regardless... We are very good friends and her family is awesome because try don't think I am some kind of crazy weirdo for wanting to spend time with Susie.
It was so fun to go to the farm and bring the girls. Susie's mom is a school teacher and loved having my kids in the house, and the girls LOVED jumping on the trampoline that Susie has. All in all I didn't really want to leave, but knew that I had to get home to my amazing husband.
Now today I get to go grocery shopping and then spend some time with one of my best friends in the whole world!!! Yay me!!!!!!
